Epaderm Ointment

Epaderm® Ointment is an intensive, water-free emollient that locks in moisture and protects the skin’s natural barrier. Ideal for night-time use and dry skin flare-ups. It is used for managing dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Ingredients
• Liquid Paraffin (Ph. Eur.): Also known as mineral oil, liquid paraffin acts as an occlusive agent, forming a protective film on the skin.
• Ceto macrogol Emulsifying Wax BP: This emulsifying wax combines Ceto stearyl alcohol and macrogol Ceto stearyl ether.
• Yellow Soft Paraffin BP: Yellow soft paraffin is another form of mineral oil that provides additional moisturisation and helps soften the skin.

Precautions

Do not use Epaderm Ointment on patient and/or user with known hypersensitivity to the ingoing materials / components of the product. If your condition worsens or you experience any undesirable effects, stop using Epaderm Ointment and discuss with your health care professional. When used in the bath or shower please be careful as this will make the bath/shower surface slippery. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.
Do not use if the seal is broken or after the expiry date.

Warnings

Do not smoke or go near naked flames - risk of severe burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings etc) that has been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a serious fire hazard. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not totally remove it.
